E4OD rebuild shop needed chi-town area
 

Hello all, have a 92 f-150 302 with an ailing E40D. I need a place that can rebuild it to better than new, including a towing coverter and a big cooler. I'll pay the price for work done correctly, but need a warranty and someplace that stands behind their work...

I know a great shop in Elgin, He's been doing all my trans work since 1990 When he was in the city. . He rebuilt the 4R100 in my stacked chip, propane juiced diesel tow truck, which held up until after I traded it in. The shop is Twinn auto, 1337 Dundee rd., Elgin IL. I had Brian from BTS do my transmission. Not local but very well known and has a warranty. Just my 2cents worth.
