What is the size of a 1972 Ranchero 500 w/429 fuel tank. Is it 20 gals?

i'm thinkin i used to squeeze about 21 into mine, when it was running on fumes. :-rip

but that last gallon may have been in the fill pipe...

Torino was 21 gallons, but Ranchero was 26 gallons 1972-1979...
