will there be a 2008 harley model?
 

I really like the past SD harley editions and want to find out if Ford will be spitting some 08's out.

The Harley option was dropped for 08.

it'll probably be back though, same thing happened with the F-150 when they changed it but now look at those ones

I do hope they bring it back...the black with the stripe...awesome.

I was kind of hoping to see the chrome package back. This is my big hangup with trading my '06. Truck is still like new (only 9 months old) but would like to try the new '08. Dealer is giving me a real good trade value for mine also. Decisions, decisions!

Tempting isnt it?

It is tempting. I usually keep my vehicles for about 7 years though, and I have barely gotten used to this one. I did blow the rear main seal out last week and was the reason I was visiting my dealer in the first place. Of course I had to inquire on the '08s and this meant to them I was looking to trade. With the small increase in the price for the same thing I have minus the chrome package (which I really like) and the great trade value they are offering me its hard not to consider it. Biggest issue is I have been babying this current vehicle intending on keeping it for the long haul spending the extra dough for synthetic oils, Ford Gold remote start/security system, anticorroision device, truck cap and a bunch extras. Someone would get a great truck like new if I did trade it!

There is a chrome package on the KR, the dealer asked me if I wanted it when I ordered my 350.

Not on the 08's, not from the factory anyways.

I saw it on the dealer's computer screen when I spec'd out my '08.

That's wierd the below excerpt is from the 2008 F-350 order guide under Optional Program Changes.
• Deletions:

— Chrome Package (17C)
— FX4 Off-Road Package (55F)
— King Ranch with Chrome Package (175)
— Harley-Davidson™ Package (17H)

I know, I didn't think you could get the KR chrome package either (I didn't give it a second thought when the dealer showed me since I'm not a chrome person. I prefer the monochrome sport look.) I'm only passing along what I saw. I could be mistaken, lord knows it happens enough at my age! :-D

jaybird: yes according to the article in pickuptruck.com web site. They will have one in the future...
