Out wheeling yesterday
I went out with my local club for our annual snow run. :-missingt
Great time, all clay hill climbs and fields on private property. All but me are Heep guys. Mostly YJ-TJ. So I showed the what some V8 hp sounds like on a real packed greasy hill. I caught a couple of guys talking at the bottom and hit them dead in the mouth with a nice load of clay. :-X07 Here's a video link. http://s130.photobucket.com/albums/p...t=MOV00538.flv I really need some lockers! |
Thanks Ken. I needed that wheeling fix!! :-jammin Hopefully this year I can get another wheeling rig and I can be out there instead of watching videos of you and your friends or the Dakar on TV.
Thanks for sharing!!! :) |
boy, those pics give me the itch...
Darren..theres a place about 10 min from Letchworth we go. Ive only wheeled there once (and buried my stock bronco) but we go and watch all the time..I hope to have my buggy done in time for mudders day this year.. http://groups.msn.com/InTheHeartsOfJ...grovegrog.msnw |
This is really getting to me. :-X15 I really need a wheeling rig!!! x(
Let me know if you go John and I will meet you. Looking forward to your buggy. Do a buildup thread for us on it!! :-X22 |
Yeah, a locker would have gotten you over that hill.
I'll probably be doing the same, when the lift and tires come... I'll definitely need the traction once I get mine in the mud. |
Im at the point now, where I dont have a trailer to move my buggy and was thinking of moving the lift and tires to my daily driver Bronco. Everything from the kit seems to be workable except the brackets that attatch the arms from the axles to the frame. Anyone know of a place that would seel just the frame brakets ?

John - what is your buggy based on? Is it a FSB and what year?
