Need a Ford Buddy in New Orleans
 

Yeah--

I just got on this site in Oct. and signed up in the LA Chapter today. I have a nice '78 f150 4x4 that I got this year and am slowly doing all the repairs/mods myself.

I just delved into the world of classic Ford Pickups this year and could really use the help/advice of someone older and wiser and more experienced with old FORDs than myself that lives in the New ORleans area. In return, maybe there is someone out there that could use an extra pair of hands/eyes/ears to help them work on their truck. Or anything else you have in mind. Im pretty capable.

God, thats a real beast of a truck. I bet you dont use that thing to park at the mall!
Which modifications did you do yourself?

I'm in the area. Just bought my truck last year, The first for me ... I am a go fast and handle great car guy .... the last thing I had close to a truck was my Sportage. I know a deal of the old ford stuff, I did restore my 73 Mach1 once .... it needs it and even more again after the bad kat and the flood of 95.

i am trying to set up a meet in new orleans/belle chasse let me know if you want to meet up to check out the trucks

I know I will be out there this weekend for Delta SCCA at old airfield .... not driving the bug much .... it really needs a tbelt and I can't afford the 4G if it pops. So I will have the truck and camera to do as always, take pix of my friends having fun.

just let me know when you got time an i could meet you somewhere. when you say the old air field where do you mean? i'll go out there an check it out
