2000 F150 lower ball joints
 

I need to replace the lower ball joints, failed inspection. I bought a Haynes manual as a guide but it says the lower control arm must be replaced, the ball joints are not serviceable. I have read posts about changing the lower ball joints, can they be replaced or do i need to replace the entire lower control arm?

Moog k8695T is the lower balljoint for a 2000 F150 with a 4.6L. So you can buy the ball joint seperately.

unless you have the ball joint press out tool you may need to remove the entire arm to put in a press.
