diD YOU TRY PULL THE TROUBLE CODES?

First I would pull all the vacuum lines off the manifold tree and see if they hold vacuum. It takes five minutes at most and is very easy. Pull each line off then suck on it and see if it holds vacuum.
If they all check out, pull your codes.

I had a probrem with my 94 f150 4.9I 5sp but in 1998 it would jerk at 45 mph, wish is my driving speed in the streets, it was annoying. I had that truck in the dealer for weeks, the dealer made me take of my glass pack, I changed fuel filter and after all this it still did it. The dealer than put a new computer, they charged me $250.00 and it still did not fix, dealer game my $ back and left new computer. The Tech at ford old school mechanic in his 60's mickey moused my truck and put something in one of the vacuum lines, it took the jerking away but my engine light was always on now, I did not want to drive like this you know. Finally the manager at ford said they had a t-bird with the same problem and that all they did was put the original sparkplugs and wires back and it solve the problem. I was running champion trucks plugs and after marketwires since I had ready replaced the ford ones, I went home, I still had the ford wires and went to ford to get the plugs and what do you know it fixed the problem. I will never put any other types of spark plugs other than Motorcraft again. I still have my truck, still running original type of plugs but since then changed to Bosch wires. NO problems. STICK WITH OEM part.!!!

Good Luck.

yeah i agree. oem or motorcraft parts, though sometimes cost more, are the best choice. but sometimes a factory part is cheaper from the dealer than a no name brand from the parts house. i too tried some bosch plugs in my 302, they burnt up in 3000 miles. put some oem platinum motorcraft plugs in and runs like it use too.
