"Northlander"

Hey guys. Does anyone remember the mid to late 70's F150 "Northlanders"? I'm finding out that this was most likely a decal package. I'm looking for a picture of one of these trucks or if there is someone who has one. I grew up in northern MN and remember that there were about 3 of them in my hometown. I just picked up another 76 F150 and had the idea of restoring it as a "Northlander". Any help in getting some info or better yet a picture is appreciated.

Thanks,

My father had a 95 F150 with the "Northland" decal. I always thought it was a dealer promotion.

The 70's "Northlander" was somewhat different than the "Northland" pkg you see around today. As I remember it, the decals started right behind the front tire on the lower part of the fender and continued to move up and back down the body of the truck and ended right at the rear corner of the box, right before the tail light. Above the body line on the truck was the "Northlander" decal. The trucks came in different colors but the decal was always white.
