460 C6 passing gear cable

hi, i did a tranny swap on my 1990 f250 from the auto e4od to the auto c6. the reason i did not use the same trans is because i just simple could not afford to rebuild it let alone purchase another one and i had the c6 lying around that was couple to an '83 carbed 460. what i was told i needed since now my truck only has 1st and 2nd gear is what's called a passing gear cable? i was also told it's called a kick down cable. which is the correct name? are there any other names this part goes by? this is the last thing i need on my truck then she'll be fine after 3 months of just sittin dead. is there anything anyone maybe suggest i do about this? i've already checked allllll the local junk yards, autowreckers, etc... and no one has it. any suggestions would probably hep, thanks in advance!

The correct name is downshift linkage rod or cable.

I've always heard it called a kick-down cable. Last one that I got for a C-6 I had to get at ford. It was for an 88 F250, and should be the same one you need.
