Anyone up for a DuraDuty or a SuperMax?
Interesting read about a Ford / GM merge...unlikely but, a good read anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a higher level of cooperation and increased joint-ventures in the future, but I dunno about an outright merger. My money sez the Ford family would like to take the company private.
|
I saw a report on the possibility of privatizing the company a few weeks ago. Would allow them to do some things without the scrutiny of shareholders etc...
If the price per share goes down...hmmmmmmm.....someone could save mucho grandee pesos. Now wouln't that be something? |
So wait, if they do something apparently dumb, and the stock price bottoms out, it may have actually been a ploy to cheapen the price and buy back the company?
|
Just thinking' out loud. Haven't read that anywhere. Just a mere thought.
It would make a pretty good corporate intrigue novel...don't you think? |
are the pigs flying yet?

AAUGGH! Say it isn't so! I may soon be driving a Fordolet!
There goes the market for stickers and t-shirts with a little Calvin peeing on a Chevy bowtie or Ford oval. http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll...DATE/609180420 |

Next thing you know the Red Sox and Yankees will start collaborating...:-D

If Toyota and GM merged, would you drive a Toyolet? I hate to see our great American companies go down. Good honest competition between makers is what results in good vehicles. |
