If any of you Ut's are interested, The Nevada Chapter is planning our first Chapter meet at Fallon Nevada for the mud bog event there.
You're certainly welcome to come join us if you wish. If your interested, feel free to come on over to the Nevada Chapter Forums and get in on the discussion. There is camping, Rv, and hotel accomidations in Fallon and it is being discussed on both Nevada and Northern California forums.
There are a couple of folks from the Northern California Chapter coming over for the meet and a couple from Nevada.
The main attraction is an FTE member, Skipped_link, who will be competing in the event. He's got a 49 Ford Pickup that is built to the hilt! Real nice truck. The only thing, I think, that might get in his way would be if all that RAW horsepower blows apart some of the drive train. He's done alot of work on this rig though so hopefully he's anticipated all that can go wrong. You gotta see this truck. Actually, in Skipped_links signature, you can view a video of his rig in action. Pretty awsome.

on edit: oh yeah, the event is on September 30th. I think it starts at 6:00 pm, but we'll most likely meet up before the event.
