How many $'s for tranny removal and install?
 

Hello all,

I have a 2001 F-250 with a 4R100 transmission behind a 7.3 engine. The tranny is going out, but luckily it is still under warranty. What would be a reasonable price for removing and installing the tranny and flushing the lines? Also, would I be better off replacing the cooler?

it cost me 300 to remove and install a dodge tranny

Time is about 5.8 hours, for someone who is familiar and has proper tools. I would figure $3-400 for R&R, more or less, as a reasonable price.

I paid $300. To removal and install tranny. Flush out lines. Replace cooler. Transfer case fluid change.
