Finally, Some Pictures

Well...it's only been a couple of months since I got my new tires...but I figured I'd take some pictures to show ya'll. This was the second time "testing" them since they've been on the truck. Enjoy:

I like! It looks like it has nice aggressive trend on those destinations.

Cool. Looks like they did a fairly good job. But next time, cover the entire truck with mud, looks more impressive. Have fun cleaning.

Agreed. You have back up while turning and spinning the tires to get the windshield and hood better. :-X10

These tires are so good that I didnt have to use 4WD...Plus, the tires dont stick out past the fenders enough to get her really muddy.

I've got plans in the furure to cure this 'problem' though :D

That's no excuse!:-lamesign }> If I still had my original hard drive on this laptop, I would post some pix of our '04 Explorer (stock tires) on it's first and only mud expedition. OMFG, that thing was covered in mud, heck you couldn't even tell what color the paint was. My wife got pissed because some water got into the alternator bearings and it squeeked for a week, also I think a few pebbles got trapped in the fan housing and sounded really bad. So needless to say, I haven't been able to take it off-roading again.

You must have been hitting the holes at 50mph to get it that dirty (and to get pebbles thrown into the engine bay) :D

Where I go 'wheeling...it's way to rough to even go 20mph. Faster than that and I'll be bending/breaking things!

About 30mph. We were in the back part of a new development (open field prety much) that didn't have the sewer laterals sticking out of the ground yet. It rained about 2 inches so needless to say it was muddy. There were a few areas of standing water, about 6" deep and we made a few dozen runs through them. Oh man, it was a lot of fun. My buddy had a '01 Ranger w/ MTRs and he was rippin it up big time. My '04 Explorer w/ Michelin Cross Terrains was doing a fine job too though. I really wish I could have printed out the pics before my hard drive unexpected just died on me. Pissed me off.
