blocking off thermactor tube
 
i have an exhaust leak coming from my thermactor tube, been that way for a while. i am planning on blocking it off, and i remember reading on here what size bolts to use, but have had no luck of finding it. any help appreciated

that would be alright but i dont wanna order them i was wondering what the thread size was so i can buy some drain plugs or pipe fittings to block it off

IIRC I used 9/16-18 bolts to do mine and they work great. It is possible they are a 3/8 NPT. I looked at those as well and others have used them successfully. I just bought what looked like it would work the best.

well the 3/8 npt plugs are too big and the 1/4 npt go in but are loose, so i just used the original plugs and crimped them real good.
