I am looking for a rightside hand brake cable for a 66 f-100 4x4 can any one point me to a company. Also am I right in assuming that the hand brake cables are the same for the 65 and 66 trucks? Or is there a diffrence between the 4x2 and 4x4 cables.

4 x 2 cables are the same 65 or 66. I think the 4x4 cables might be slightly longer, due to the 4x4 height. I don't think they are interchangeable, but the longer cables and mounting hardware could probally be mounted to work with a little creativity by the right person!

Joe, I don't know exactly what you are trying to do, but we have gone to the hardware store in the past and bought cable and using clamps tied it into the system. These are a holding brake not a stopping brake, OK?

Thanks, I found what I needed. enclosed is the part number for the right side cable. 1965-1966 C5TZ-2A635-D BRAKE CABLE REAR EMERGENCY-RIGHT 61inches F100 The Left cable is 55 inches long. All cables fit all trucks.
