Ok here I go again. Boy is this embarrassing, I am looking at the instructions per George that others have had sucess with, and I can't get there yet. I am going to post a link to show one shot of my truck, then I will continue with my education and , hopefully, post some more soon. Joe www.members.cox.net/sooner-356ea/joe.jpg

Joe,
This is Donald (Tacson). I looked in your gallery you have a Volare Front end but what rear end do you have? Also what rear wheel and tire size do you have? One last comment if the slantcab pictured in this photo is yours I have a one word description for you. SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-X06 . The stance and everything looks good. |
Hey, Joe!!! 3rd time is the charm. That link worked.
Great looking truck!!! |
Joe,
Is that "Chilli Pepper Red" ? The colour we discussed here about a year ago? It's so darned bright (from sunlight) in that picture that it's hard to tell the true colour, but it sure looks good. |
Joe, that is one nice looking truck. I was at Americruise as a spectator on friday morning until about noon, but don't remember seeing your truck. Sorry I missed it, but it was so blasted hot there that we hurried through the show and quite a few vehicles weren't there until later. It was around 100 degrees by late morning. No wonder the picture was bright.
My main disapointment was the lack of Fords with Ford power. Too many with something else. |
Thanks for the kind words guys. Donald, yes it's mine. The rear end is stock Dana 3.92, the tires are 3.0x9.50x15, wheels are 8.5. I did use the wider rear fenders. With my AOD I am turning 2000rpm @ 70mph. ferg, it is 69 Lincoln Royal Maroon. Del, We were there when they opened the gates Friday and parked just south of vendors. The picture seems bright because the truck was somewhat in the shade, so I lightened the picture. Hope to post some pics of the several other F100's in attendance. Joe

Here are more pics. |
I will add this one. It is obvious who's it is. For sale for 95K. They did take it on the autocross [not sure what they called it] course a few times. Although they were pretty easy on it. I would have been also. I was easier on mine, left it setting in the shade.http://www.members.cox.net/sooner-356ea/Airride.jpg

Thanks for the great pictures Joe.
Your truck is looking real SHARP!! |
That is the one short stretch we didn't walk down before we left. (south of the venders) We did make it around and down along the street by the railroad and most of the rest of the area. I missed one block and missed your truck. I'll know better next time.

Deffinately some nice looking trucks there :-X22

Can you imagine how much work it took to get that panel's rear section that straight??!! I'll bet it wasn't that good leaving the factory! Some very nice trucks, indeed!
