Free projector TV

I think the power supply is shot. It started whistling the crackling, now the tv will not turn on.

Bring a trailer and it's yours. I'll keep it for a week.... it's for Ford Forum registrants only.

I'm 7 miles from Rome. Worked great until this happened last week. RCA 50" projector TV.... fantastic shape

Why not take the power supply out and have it repaired?

loveoldtrux 08-01-2006 07:27 PM

Berkad - I don't have time to wipe my own you-know-what. If somebody has the time (perhaps even a garage) this'd be a GREAT opportunity for them!!...... I'm getting old and can't do much any longer..... (visions of a violin playing a sad sad song....).

That's my "assumption" that it's the power supply..... the inline fuse is fine.

No takers on the TV. I'll be taking it apart this weekend, then.

Ya'll have a nice day - watch out for the white blur (Harrison)!!....

loveoldtrux 08-16-2006 11:55 AM

3broncocrazy... I understand completely. Same here.... See 'ya somewhere in north Georgia blasting through the mountains, terrorizing all the locals with Harrison !!

Can't afford it, besides- just paid a bunch to get my bigscreen fixed after lightin damage...

loveoldtrux 08-20-2006 06:41 PM

Old87 --- yeah, I was thinking of paying the $500.00 - $600.00 to get this one fixed, but I'd still be stuck with an outdated system that is no longer under warranty and takes up a LOT of space. So, it was time to step up to the HD Plasma.

Gotta go - the wife is due back ANY moment ~ I have to go clean house!!....
