77 390 adapter to 84 C6

Are their adapaters available to hook up a 77 Ford LTD 390 engine to an 84 C6 transmission and transfer case from a bronco?

I don't recall ford ever installing a 390 in a 77 car. A 77 truck maybe but not a car.

As for the trans I don't think anyone would have an adapter when all you have to do is find an FE trans for your application which would be far cheaper than the cost of an adapter.

That is what I have been told. Any idea what the big ford engine they used in cars in 77 was?

I think the 351/400M were available in 77 LTD's.
