Hummer H2 Wheels
I was wondering if anybody knows if the stock wheels and tires from a Hummer H2 will fit on my 2004 F-350. I know that this is big in the Dodge world, and my buddy just put a set on his 1998 Ram 2500. They look pretty cool and are bigger than stock tires, plus I can get a full set with almost new tires for about $500. He had to drill out the center of the wheel to fit over his hubs. I just wanted to know if anybody has seen, heard, or done this, and what it would take to make them fit on my truck. Thanks.

nope, ford uses the 8x170 mm lug pattern, everyone else uses the 8x6.5 pattern

why would you want an h2 product on a fine blue oval :-roll

Those wheels might not take a full load that your SD can handle ;) |

The reason that I was asking was because how many after market wheels with tires that have hardly been used, can you get a set of five for $500? I was just looking into it and they actually look pretty cool. I am sorry that they won't fit, but if they did I am sure that many people would be doing it. Thanks for the help.

krewat, i must disagree. the wheels on the H2 are 3/4 ton wheels and so is the chassis. GM would not waste the time and money to put 8 lug wheels, axles, and other stuff on a 1500 chassis. they would have used the same as the tahoe suspension instead.

tahoe, smahoe, hummer, bummer, don't infect our beautiful fords with that gm crap!

just trying to state the facts. just dont like when people tpye the wrong info..

GM has done some pretty stupid things...trust me. |
no, its 3/4 ton front and rear...although i think the rear is semi float and not full lfoat
regaurdless those wheels are fine for 3/4 ton applications where they fit |
the h2 hummer and avalanche are pretty much identical frame and drivetrain wise. minor differences between them
|
Well, that just points out another Chevy thing I hate. I look at the undercarriage and think "1/2 ton" and find it's a 3/4.
I just heard the other day, on the news, the Hummer H2 was based on a SUV chassis, forget which one, kinda like the Expedition. F150. 1/2 ton. You get the idea. I was taken aback when I heard in this thread they had 8 lugs... See my signature. It still fits after a few years of this ;) |

I have a set on my truck now, I padi like $225 for 4 tires with less than 1K miles The guy went up to a 20" bling bling rim and tire package from Discount and he was only going to get a few $$ per tire. I upgraded my 16x8 American Racing Mojave rims to 17x9 ProComp Extreme Alloys(8023) and was able to sell my 305/70R16 Nitto Terra Grapplers to a friend and just had to recover the cost of the new rims! BTW, I have a 2002 F-350 Diesel 4x4 Lariat the fit well |
006F350DIESEL, the H2 and the avalanche are not the same chassis. unless you upgrade to the 3/4 ton 2500 avalanche. the H2 has its own dedicated frame, just like the excursion. the H2 uses the same suspension and axles as the 3/4 ton tahoe/silverado/avalanche, all 8 lug . the excursion uses the same suspension as the f250/f350, all 8 lug. just remember this, ALL 8 LUG VEHICLES ARE AT LEAST 3/4 TON VEHICLES. JUST DIFFERENT LUG PATTERNS...
