1977 F250 4x4 steering box rebuild

I'm needing to replace the seals in an early 77 ross steering box for an F250 4x4. The box is perfect inside, just need the seals, but might buy a whole rebuild kit if I have to. The seals have no numbers on them anywhere and definitely aren't a standard piece. None of the local parts stores have any listing for this box. Apparently it doesn't exist. They list the 77.5 to 79 box that ford used for 2 years, but not the earlier box that ford used 30 billion of. Anyone know where to look? I'm running out of time to get this together. Thanks.

BroncoGraveyard has this listed.

Master steering gear repair kit

Im not sure if its for any or all gear boxes used between 75-79 or whether they are for the 3 or 4 bolt gearbox. Give em a call and let us know. Often they have parts that they dont list in stock.

I don't think those are the right ones. I'm talking about the horizontal sector highboy steering box. It was the same for manual or power assist steering and it was completely phased out in 1977.5 when ford went to the power steering gear box.

Anybody know anything about the highboy boxes? Odd.

i have the same box on my 77 high boy. my problem lies with the steering in between the weird pitman arm and the steering arm.

If you could get the seals out without destorying them you could take them to a bearing place and have them matched up but the can't be destroyed cause they will need to mesure them. I never did it for steering boxs but I have done it for lot of older heavy equipment everything from seals 1" to 10" OD seals What I like about bearing houses they don't look up by Number they mesure the seals and bearings.

Check with Champion Parts.

I have a gearbox listing of Part # 58-4024

Let them know ....This is the one you need the parts for.

Looks like Rockauto has it,

I have a big account at applied industrial, a pretty darn big bearing and seal house and they're lost with these seals. I did bang them up pretty good removing them, but I brought all the parts to match something up and while we found seals that fit, nothing looks even remotely close to the seals that came out. I'm ready to shelve the box and just toss in a junker on my nice pretty frame just to drive the old truck again.
