Trucks from hicktown?

Any body know anything about the trucks in the music video Hicktown by Jason Alden. They are all ford exsept for a jeep from what I saw. I want to see more pictures of the trucks.

I bet they just went to a town and recruited them.

I did notice they were all fords though. Someone's got their head on straight!

that is one of the coolest videos I've ever actually seen.

They actually shot that video in a town in Florida. He was doing a local concert and didn't even know that it was going to become a music video. What wound up happening was his camera crew was shooting basically everything that went on and the concert producer/manager said, " Hey, this would make one helluva music video." Thus, Hicktown was born.:-X22

I loved the trucks in the video. I want some info about the golden ford thats about a 80 or 86 vintage. That truck had a huge lift and some huge tires. I want to know the lift and tires he used because I want my truck to set that high.

This link has some video's on it and also hicktown

All I saw was what looked like one chevy, a jeep and that home made mud bogger thing with tractor tires on it.

it is a sweet vid with nice trucks..but by the title of the thread made me think you guys were lookin at the trucks from my hometown!

I did like the trucks on the vid. It looks like they had a SD with some mudders on it. When it comes time for tires I am going to be getting a little larger to fill out the wheel well.

I think that one was a chevy but I have no idea about the buggy. I am working on getting some pictures on my gallery of trucks from my hick town. Most are ford but a couple are chevy. No pictures yet however. waiting for a nice day for taking pictures

Here's a little info....sorry, I know this an old feed, but here's what I know. The Hicktown video was filmed at C & R Motorsports Park (closed down for a number of years now) down here near Palmdale, Florida. I know the guy who built the 86 Ford short bed. 514 big block, one tons and 40" boggers. It has changed hands a few times since the video, until my wife's cousin wound up with it. It was pretty tired when he got it and pretty much everything in the drivetrain was wore out...and he wound up fixing, and or replacing. The engine needed some help....he pulled it out and wound up selling the truck a couple of years ago. I think I heard the 79 Bronco was from the Sebring area.

C & R Motorsports park wound up getting closed down....the state said the ground water was being polluted and that was the end of them!! Or that's the story I heard!! Not too many places down here to off-road and "cut loose" anymore around here except Redneck Yacht Club and they're under scrutiny right now!
