I Went To California!

I posted this a few weeks ago but then realized it was hush-hush. Anywho, now it is allowed to be talked about. I wrote an article for FTE about the experience I had on a Ride and Drive for the 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Read about it here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/article/..._Part_One.html

There are two pages. :)

Very impressive truck. I will look forwar to seeing one on the lot.

Sorry Matt...

But I have to ask you a personal question.
Now that you've driven the Sport Trac, how can you possibly enjoy driving your Focus?
Maybe you can get a super deal on a new Sport Trac sort of like a thank you from Ford.
AL. :-wink
P.S. .... Did you get any t-shirts from Ford?

Beast12 04-07-2006 09:14 PM

The Sport Trac was a REALLY nice ride. I have driven the 2004 F-150 and the Sport Trac felt like a mini F-150. I was trying to figure out how to smuggle the truck back from California but couldn't figure out a way. :)

No t-shirts. Was kind of bummed. Wanted something to remember my trip. Oh well...I have a bunch of pictures...which are in my gallery under the 2007 Sport Trac Ride and Drive section.

Sounds like an exciting time, looks like a neat vehicle to test drive. :-fire

You could've just brought your Focus' licence plates with you and DRIVEN the thing back. Not a quick thinker, are you? :)

Welcome back, it was kind of quiet here without you "keeping us in line" :)

Matt, I may mention to look in the store at a future date for a sport-trac in die cast of the truck you drove to put on a shelf.

Then I can send you some FTE license plates to put on it.

Nicely written article Matt. My only suggestion would have been some more interior pictures. Did you sit in the back seat at all? My wife and I have always liked Sport Tracs after having one on our honeymoon. Ahhhh, memories. :)

You need to read the article again. ;)

I guess that's what happens when I just skim articles. :)

Beast12 04-12-2006 03:38 PM

I spent all that time for you to SKIM it? :( :-X07

-Matt :-tap

loudfords 04-13-2006 11:18 AM

If you made it shorter and more to the point I wouldn't have to skim it. }> :-X07

PS, maybe more pictures? You know, picture = 1000 words....

Beast12 04-13-2006 06:18 PM

I gave Ken a bunch of pictures to put in the article. He only used some of them, which is fine. To see more, check out my gallery. :)

P.S. You just like pictures and big print. Sorry. :-X07

Maybe that's why there's so many kid's books in my house? Or are those for the short people? :-huh
