Cat-Back Install
Who wants to help? I picked up a Borla dual side exit rear exhaust for a good deal from Summit. I'd like to save some $$ and install it myself. It looks like everything comes with it, including the hangers for the added side. Just tossing it out there.

I'd be game depending on when you are planning on doing it.
Maybe have a GTG at the same time..... That way there are many brains there to make one and if any problems arise there will be an answer... :D |
The hardest part of any catback install is gettimg the stock unit off! Good luck. Ive put a number of aftermarket catbacks on without any major problems.

I know. The stock exhust is pretty rusted, but there's only 21K miles on her! I think there's a loose baffle in the stock muffler because I get a rattling at certain RPMs, and I checked all the heat sheilds. Time for it to go!!
I was thinking of tackling it this weekend, but Sat looks like rain, so looks more like Sunday. I know its last minute, but the more brains the better! |
Well, I never got around to it this weekend. Yard work is taking all my time with this good weather. I have to pull out some shrubs this weekend, but I like to attempt it either this weekend or next.
|
you still have my number??
I got quite a bit going on but can probably fit in a couple hours in to tinker on someone elses car :D :D |
Yeah, I still have your number. We'll have to see how my other chores go this week and weekend. So far I'm behind because of the weather as far as yard work!

Ya I hear you.
I just remembered afte I wrote the last post that I need to get a fence up this weekend so I don't have to spend 1/2 my paycheck every month on doggy daycare. And I have a project that needs to be done before the May meet. |
