holley intake for 400?
 

i might have a chance to buy one how well do they perform?? any input??

I didn't know Holley made an intake for a 400. I know they offer one for the 289 and 302's.

If it is Holley Street Dominator, it is the best performance manifold ever made for the 351M/400 motor. However it is a single plane manifold and not optimum for a low RPM motor. It is also a good manifold to use for an EFI conversion.

Tim Meyer did some Dyno runs on his 400 build with a Holley Street Dominator. Take a look at that data.

Don't pay too much for it. It is a good intake but not too hard to find. I just sold one on e-Bay for $45. It took forever to sell so I finally just put a "Buy It Now" price on it and got rid of it. I paid $35 for it several years ago at a swap meet.

I'll take all the Street Dominator intakes you can find for 35.00 each.They are getting like hens teeth,and they don't make them anymore...FF59
