Dang I knew I forgot something today... MY FISHING LISENSE!!!

I could have put off going to get my new tags in Covington, skipped going to the dump, forgot to get a new scrub brush for the sink full of dishes at my house (ex ripped off the 2 dish brushes that were in the house. If that ain't cheap, what is?).

But no... THE ONE THING THAT I FORGOT ALL DAY had to be THAT.

Fellas, all of a sudden I'm digusted with myself again. That ain't nuthin' but plain old fashioned dereliction of basic necessities...

BY THE WAY!

Where's a good place to ketch Crawfish at?

s8whiskey 03-09-2006 08:12 PM

there is a creek down the street from me that is INSANE for crawfish. Like Im takling a good net and you got 4 lbs in an hour

Greywolf 03-10-2006 10:52 AM

We talkin' cast net here?

(I have at least three of them)

s8whiskey 03-10-2006 11:41 PM

Yea, I have one from my uncle that is a lobster man in maine. had mine cut down for doing this kinda stuff. The key with this creek is let it sit for about 10 min for them to get stired up from me walking around and they will actually run the way I want and get on the other side and just pull them in

Greywolf 03-11-2006 12:42 AM

I think the max diameter in TN is 9 feet. That means the total net is 18 across.

if you cain't git a little sumpthin' with that, you just ain't good at it....

Gitcha spread, and just round them up!

s8whiskey 03-11-2006 12:50 AM

Mines only 7'

Greywolf 03-11-2006 01:08 AM

That's still 14 foot wide...

Lay 'er down right and you'll bag a many!

(Just beware of tangles and snags)

I need to renew my fishing license.

Greywolf 03-13-2006 06:05 PM

I heard they opened the levee road by John's Boat Dock back up - it was washed out and has been repaired!

I hear some big ol' catfish callin' me...

Igot a lifetime license, but no boat, if I'm lucky, maybe I can borrow my mother in laws boat, if the wifes hogging brother will let go. He only plans to take it out when someone else wants it, he don't have the cash to make ends meet, or buy groceries, but always can make it on the lake.
