where around Nashville to get axle work done?
 

Hello-
I'd like to ask you local enthusiasts who you would go to-

I have a 2003 F250 that has the 3.73 ratio gears, and I am considering changing over to 4.10 gears to gain a bit of towing capacity.

One local dealer told me that doing that would cause trouble beacause I would mess up the transmissions shift points. I have since been told that is not true.....
If that is the case (it is OK to do, and won't hurt the trans), where would any of you take your vehicle to have rear gears swapped?

There are some places I know here in murfreesboro that can do it but Im not sure about nashville.

Mike, you might try TAFA on Foster Ave, next door to Mid-Tenn Ford. I've had them work on my 97 and was really pleased with their work.
