lokar shifter

i have a lokar shifter with the saftey switch and a painless wireing kit.
anyone familiar with this set up. i know that one wire goes to the starter and the other goes to the ignition. now, do you run the two wires off of the shifter and splice one into the ignition and the other to the starter? also i lost the directions for adjusting the shifter any help would be great...thanks

I'd recommend contacting Lokar for directions; they will either email or fax them to you. It seems to me that you would run the wire from your "ignition" terminal of your starter solenoid through the shifter...

Starter solenoid to one terminal (either - makes no difference which) on the shifter, second shifter terminal to the starter position on your ignition switch. Starter will only work when the shifter is in neutral or park.

Hi UK1050
Go to lokar's web site (www.lokar). You can down load the instructions. I had to do the same thing.
