nothing will swap over. you need a new tranny, engine and all the parts.

ok i was told the tranny i have now e 40d would bolt right up to it but i guess the guy was wrong.a local junk yard has a nice 460 here not sure how much they want for it though im guessing it will be at least 1200 or so?

I'm swapping a 302-460

yeah nothing will swap over. see what tranny is on it and use that. I got a 77 lincoln with a 460/c6/9" for 800 dollars ran and drove smooth. I'me trying to get the 460 into my 85 f-150. see if you can just buy the whole truck! you'll have to go to ford and buy the motormounts that go on your frame. they just discontinued the ones I needed but they found some on the shelf somewhere in texas and sent them. If you get the whole truck you should everything you need but the part of your frame to accept the mounts on the 460.
