1982 Bronco 302 Vacuum Hose Routing?
Does anybody have a good diagram or description of vacuum hose routing on a 1982 Bronco 302? I've got both the Haynes and Chilton manuals, but they are both very unclear in terms of vacuum routing. Any help or resources would be great.

Autozone.com has free vacuum diagrams
I found some great vacuum diagrams at Autozone.com. Found a complete diagram for my 351W that the Ford dealer couldn't even produce. Check it out.
http://www.autozone.com - choose REPAIR INFO (left side) - choose VEHICLE REPAIR GUIDES (center) - choose your vehicle - select FUEL SYSTEM - from the drop down menu, choose DRIVEABILITY & EMISSIONS - VACUUM DIAGRAMS is near the bottom of the list not bad for free ! |
I am having problems with installing my vac lines after not marking them and repairs taking longer than expected due to money issues. I new about the diagrams at autozone.com but for my 81 150, how do I know which one to use?

When looking at the pictures at the bottom is I believe the calibration number. Which If memory serves me correct is the carburator model number, the date is the production on or before date and 5.8L is the 351 motor. I didn't find one for 82 specific, so you may need tail of 81 or beginning of 83 depending on production date of your truck.

Hello, I am new to this site, and found this thread from a search I was doing. I own a 1982 ford bronco with a 302. I just put together a Vacuum Diagram for it. I know this is a old thread but maybe someone could use it.

Thanks! |
I would say a picture would be worst to follow but that's me :-huh
Now if you don't need to pass smog you only need 3 or 4 lines. Intake to power brake booster. Intake to modulate valve for auto Trans if yours has it. Intake to HVAC controls. Base of carb or intake for PCV in the valve cover. Carb ported nipple to vacuum advance if the truck has it. That is about all you need for it to run. Dave ---- |
