Well, Australia offers a few things.

The Outback. (often called the REAL Australia)
A barren, desolate, unihabital place, but complellingly beautiful nonetheless.

I couldn't fit enough words to describe how much I genuinely love the place.

Fishing.
It is amazing, doesn't matter where you are, the fishing is absolutely fantastic.
Whether it has Barramundi jumping onto your line up North,

or fly fishing for a brown trout in Tasmania's lakes.

Beaches.
I have visited a few places, but I am yet to come across beaches like those in Australia.

Wildlife.
Thanks in part to the majority of our country being untouched, a lot of our wildlife and landscape is in pristine condition.
Whether it is the Blue Mountains,

or swimming with the dolphins off the beach at Monkey Mia

or hiking the Cradle Mt, lake St Clair trail

The ability to just GET away from it all. If you want, Australias population density (or lack thereof) means if you want to, you can go with months on end without seeing another person.
I have driven on major highways in someplaces, and not seen another vehicle for 3 days.

Cities
Sydney is full of attractions, from the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the Opera House, but my personal favorite city in

My personal favorite is Hobart. You can live out looking the pristine Derwent River (finish line for the Sydney to Hobart sailing race - one of the most dangerous sailing races in the world) on one side, and see a snow capped Mt Wellington behind you.

It also has some beautiful old buildings from the convict days.

I can't fit in all that I think appeals to tourists, but I think that covers my favorite parts.

This site has some good information on Venezuelaīs turistic atractions and some great pictures too (the info on each turistic spot is in english and other languages, so check it out). Just scroll down until you reach the thumbs, and click under them to get detailed information on that particular region of Venezuela.

WOW:eek: is right!

I can't believe the white sand beaches you guys have. I really need to plan a trip every couple years. Venezuala and Oz are on my list. Always wanted to go to Finland.

I was looking though my files and can't believe all the pics I have of foundations and jobs sites...:) I need to remember to just stop and take landscapes. A few pics from Oregon:

This is Eastern Oregon. It's also known as the Oregon Outback. Although we are known for our rain, most of the state is really desert.

The Cascade Mountains separate the high desert to the East, from the rainy Western side.

Then things end at the coast. The Southern part of the state has a low population. I believe tourism is our third strongest industry.

(If anyone wants to post pics of your country, but aren't quite sure how to resize, so it doesn't overwhelm the server - feel free to PM me. You can email the pics and I'll resize them, and send them back. Offer free to International Forum, outside N. America.)
