Long tube headers in 91 F-150, clearance?

I'm going to be putting headers in my 91 f150 4x4 and would really like to go with long tube headers. The think is that I dont want to do much mod work (other than the obvious exhaust work), will long tubes fit in? Or is it a safer bet to go with the shorties?? I look foreward to hearing what my options are, thank you.

If they are made for a 91 F-150 4x4 they will fit. Others that fit the engine but are not made for a 4x4 truck will not.

Perhaps others with more information on long tube headers can help ya, but when I looked for aftermarket long headers, I could not find any that would work. I ended up going with shorties, and they bolted right up w/ my new stock y-pipe/cat assembly.
They seem to work fine and have adequate room.

I have long tubes from hedmen their "4x4" headers supose to fit with a 5speed well going to heat them and use a chain binder to get them away from the shaft. Hooker told me theirs will fit check with the manufacturers, but avoid hedmen I was screwed around with them don't want to see anyone else go through it. But I must say short tubes yeah there nice for installation but the extra low end tq with the longs are worth it, if i had to do it over again I would go long again.
