Water Spot Removal
Does any one have any recommendations on how to remove water spots from automobile windows?

I'd use very fine steel wool (000) and take my time with it. If the vehicle is old and of low value/rough body/etc, I'd be more aggressive and give CLR a try.

vinegar should do the trick

Dura Gloss make a cleaner called new glass that works great you can pick it up at NAPA http://www.duragloss.com/product.asp?pid=303
|
Ammonia with water or rubbing alcohol should cut the spots. Foam cleaners are easier to use and seem to have a higher ammonia content without being smelly. They leave window glass an excellent shine.
