Has anyone ever swapped a 4.6 4v dohc for 2v into a f150?

I was just wondering if andone has ever swapped a dohc 4v 4.6 into a f150. I have an f150 4.6 with a 5sp and it is fun to drive, I'll bet it would be a blast with the 4v.

There 3 valve not 4 if Im not mistaken. It would probably be cheaper to get a truck with the 5.4 an have even more fun

The 5.4 is a three valve and the 4.6 a two valve in ford trucks. The mustang cobra has a four vavle DOHC 4.6.

There was also a 4.6 dohc 4v in one of the lincoln SUVs i believe.. all aluminum i think. But they're not being produced anymore, in favor of the 3v (which i still don't understand.).

If I get bored, i'll yank the DOHC out of my Cobra and slap it in the F150. j/k. I think the Aviator had the 4.6 DOHC. U can buy a crate motor from an aviator if u want:)
