Basically what you have to do for the Zoodad is to find the air passage that goes on the passenger side of the battery forward and see that it terminates at an opening behind a plastic wall next to the radiator. Cut that part of the wall away to allow air to directly enter that passage, not having to go around anything to get there. That's the Zoodad mod. Some people use hole saws and that makes for a cleaner look. Me I have a billet grill so it hides the sawsall cuts that I made. :D |
so you can do it on the right side too? i was just thinking the left side, because of the air intake advantage. great point, i plan to do that tomorrow. can you just remove the whole shroud that some cut holes in?

I have not done the zoodad but here is how I did the 6637 on my 01 X
