Hi

Ahh JB does this mean that your willing to step up and accept the nomination? if you say yes we need someone to second the motion.

Am sorry to hear Ken Rosati is MIA but understand that the group needs some leadership. Just so everyone is clear, what all responsibilities would be expected of someone for this position? Want to be sure that whoever decides to step up can meet the time commitment being asked for.

Hmmm good question, it can be a very rewarding position. but will need all the members to be involved inorder for it to be a success,

Here a good link for alot of good info on the position.

Now considering the size of Texas, it may be a good idea get alot of small groups going, and this can be done by inviting friends that own Fords.

you can also start posting info that relates to your state, for instance local issues, taxes, places to find a good mechanic, where to go 4wheeling,Ford events, etc etc...

this is your chapter it will become what you make of it.

even though you have a leader, you will all need to support the chapter.

Take a look at the Kansas chapter for a good example, and for the wilder side of things peek in the NW chapter, they tend to live on the edge }> but be sure to look at the other chapters as well

But one thing they all share is there love of Fords .

I apologize for dropping out like I did without any warning or notice. I've been working back and forth between two plants for the last two months and just have not had any time get on the boards. I will still be somewhat rare, just a time or two a week for awhile. Again, Sorry.

No need to apologize Ken - thanks for all your efforts todate. Glad to hear the problem is too much work instead of the opposite problem! Hope you and the family are doing well and that you are still able to find time to work on the truck. I know you seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. Chime in when you get a chance.

Thanks for stepping up JD - it was a unanimous descision! Congratulations. If you are open to suggestions, I think that this thread warrants some "official" discussion.
