Aftercooler

Does an 01 Lightning have an aftercooler under the supercharger? I have been told by some there is a cooler wedged between the charger and intake to assist in condensing the air. Is this true?

They call it an intercooler. It doesn't condense the air, either. It cools off the intake charge in order to run more advanced timing. Anybody try water/alcohol injection yet?

Thanks Steve. For clarification, is the intercooler after the supercharger, before the intake?

The I/C sits directly under the blower. Here is a link to one that didn't has an oil seperator installed. See all the oil that comes in through your PCV system!!!!http://www.nhtoc.com/forum/showthrea...ercooler+clean
