1969 Ford Ranger Value???
Hey there everyone - there is a guy close to town here who has a 1969 Ford Ranger Shortbed Truck that's in excellent condition and all original. No rust, no dents. He's the only owner. The truck has 110,000 miles on it. Engine is a 360. He is asking $5000 for it. Is that a good price or should I talk him down a bit. I can't get the Blue Book value for it - thanks a lot everyone!!!! z

Usually, these trucks in good shape sell for $2,500 to $3,500 around here (Arizona) but in that you are in Georgia and that this sounds like a really nice truck, it might be worth what he's asking. Sure wouldn't hurt to offer less though. How about posting some photos.

According to NADA classic car listings, it's worth up to $11,000 depending on the condition.

around my area they are worth between 3-5K in good original shape. At the F100 supernationals, ive seen them go for 8-10k.
The way i always look at it though, it only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. |
well i live in albany, GA and around here the 67-72 in good condition can go for $2000-$4000. With no dents and no rust they CAN go for $6000-$7000. it's just up to how much you want to spend.

I got my 1969 F-100 Ranger wit a 390 CID for $375. The man wanted $1500. He really needed the money so i got a great deal on it.
and it was in great condition. Now it is even better. |
In great original condition it's probably worth the $5K. But if that's what he's asking you can get it for $4000-4500. There's always a little pad worked in there for negotiating purposes.
