1963 Econoline VIN Number
Can anyone tell me where I can get information on what the VIN means

i have a 1964 econoline

That number is for a 64 Econoline van with a 170 engine.
The place to look is on the back crossbraces on the back corners over the tailights inside your van. That will be the original number. The other place is on the lip of your doghouse floor. That you need to unbolt the engine housing and clean the caulking to see the number along the lip of the floor. Those are the two places that the numbers are stamped into the body. |
I found mine as 66gpw stated. Pulled 1 tail light and cleaned the paint off. Also found it on the front lip of the dog house.
