1976 Ford F150 Ranger Carb

I own a 1976 F 150 Ranger 2wd Pickup. I replaced the motor with a 390 . I need to find a good after market 2 barrel carb. I have tried several 2150 motorcraft carbs but had no luck in the performance department. They suck!I just got done redoing the top end and is time to mount the carb. All the information I found on the 390 lists a 4 barrel. Can anyone suggest a good 2 barrel. Thank you .

I believe that they have one that is manual choke and possibly one that has an electric choke.
