having a hard time with lakewood traction bars

Did anyone put on the lakewood traction bars on their lightning? I cant get the snubs to the spring eye without shimming it at least with one inch of shimms. This doesnt seem correct to me. And they didnt send me that many Shims. My truck is a 2000 Lightning.

Hey Guy's,

I went with these traction bars.

Great quality, and the fitment was awsome.

Sorry I didn't see this post before, but it is not uncommon for some owners to "shim" these units in order to obtain the type of traction/driveline control that is desired.

Thank you for your input but I would have to shimm it one inch and them start adjusting it. It seemed to much to me .vI would have to put a block it there just to make it work so I returned them and lost $8.00 to Jegs.
