Finding an EFI 300-6?

How hard would it be to find an EFI 300-6, for my '66 Falcon Club Wagon? Would I have better luck in Indy, than in Connersville or Richmond? I was almost considering donating the EFI 302 V-8 from my '91 F-150 to the Club Wagon, until I found out that it's not an easy swap, especially when it comes to cooling. I'll continue with my original idea to modernize an early to mid 60s F-100, using my '91 F-150 as the donor.

Shouldn't be to hard to find one. They put them in a lot of trucks.
Didn't Some of the Falcons come with a v-8? Cooling shouldn't be that tough for a 302. Could always run an electric fan.

I've decided to broaden my search for a 300-6 to include carbureted versions, since it's possible to build my own EFI using parts from various sources. I haven't yet ruled out keeping the 240-6, but I'm waiting to find out (from a query in the Inline Six forums) if a 300 head will work on the 240 block. I'll be rebuilding something, either way, but it'd be a bit easier if I don't first have to find something to rebuild.

I found out, from my query at the Inline Six forum, that swapping a 240 head onto a 300 will raise the compression, but swapping a 300 head onto a 240 will lower compression. Not such a bad thing, if I was wanting to use some sort of forced induction on the 240. I'm planning to use the 240, in the future, to power a front engined nostalgia slingshot dragster (like the Mooneyes dragster), so this might not be such a bad swap after all. There has to be some sort of interchangeability, as far as parts between the two heads, or people wouldn't be swapping a 240 head to a 300, so I can see me eventually rebuilding a 300-6 with my 240 head, and my 240-6 with the 300 head and forced induction. I am planning some hot rodding to the van, anyway, so all of this seems like a feasible idea.

The only thing I'm not sure of, currently, is just how much the 300 head on a 240-6 will lower the compression, so I'll need to find that out before I go slapping some sort of forced induction on the 240. I wouldn't want my first nostalgia dragster 1/4 mile pass to be my last one with Ford 240-6 power, then end up having to (gasp!) go to SBC power to keep racing beyond that.
