Parts Source

Found a parts source on the web. They sell parts from 1945 to present and have good prices. http://www.rockauto.com/

I just placed an order for a new multi-function turn signal lever for my 1994 F150 with them.

Update

Got the parts I ordered today. The turn signal multi function switch is an exact replacement part from Ford Motorcraft and fit same as the original. Great price and fast delivery.

The exhaust pipe for my '79 Malibu came today also and it fit without any fuss, better than the original pipe. It is a Walker part.

I am a very satisfied customer for www.rockauto.com

They have a few places you can go for ford parts. When I get up tomorow I'll link another place that supposedly has a lot of parts as well. Also, don't forget LMCtruck.com.

Thanks Roger, www.rockauto.com is a great parts source. I couldn't find the NAPA part number for king pins on my '48' but found the MOOG part number on Rock Auto and cross referenced it to NAPA's number on NAPA's website. The reason I needed this was because the king pin set my dad has left over from his Model A is the same set that I need. Sorry for the long post but I'm happy I don't have to buy king pins! :-D

Hey A_G, I found the 352 under 1966-67 F-100 and Galaxie from 1959-66. Hope this helps.

are you SURE it's a 352? ALL FE series are stamped 352 on the block. I didn't think they used 352 after '67. unless it's a different motor than what was in it from the factory.

the only thing you shouldn't be able to use from any other FE would be the crank rods and pistons.

if you'd like, I could give you a deal on a 390 that need rebuilt.

its a 68 but it prolly came out late 67..a bunch of my replacement parts have been late 67.
yes its a 352 interceptor..same thing..different badge.

yea it was a custom truck.
the guy that my dad bought it from..went to a dealer..picked out ht etruck..the suspension...the motor..etc

its a camperspecial front edn..and a super duty..back...something like that...half camper half super duty

352 dump truck motor linked into 4 ont he floor with a granny gear

ranger id take it up..but im replacing it back to orignal condition..and i havent relaly started yet..dont have money..and it would set.

that's a 67 there, anyway, isn't it? yours probably is a carry over.

My friend was at the ford dealer looking to get a then new 99 in December 98. the dealer tried jacking him around telling him that the truck they were trying to sell him was a 99, when indeed it was a 98 as evident from the instrument cluster, lights, grill, and several other key asthetic points. anyway, my point is that.....ok there really was no point to that, just a story that you reminded me of...oh and it was Joe Cooper Ford in Midwest City, OK that this happened at.

A_G 09-06-2005 05:02 PM

ya its like both..its a carry over...part 67 part 68

like i said it was custom from the factory...so while all the vins say 68 it actually a 67
