Another new guy

Hey guys im new obviously and so i guess ill give you a small intro. My name is Bo, I'm 15 and own a '91 white XLT Bronco. I've always wanted to go offroading and now i finally have a car to do it with. I figured someone on here could tell me of a place or two to go mudding. I live in gwinnett county and just want somewhere near by to go spin my tires and throw some mud.

Welcome buckinbronc. The mudholes are getting few and far between especially in your neck of the woods. Maybe someone here can give you some info.

Well over here in paulding county there are still some good places if you want to drive about 40 to 50 miles, but it's worth it. just abunch of rednecks haulin' ass through the woods!!! If your interested I can give ya directions.

wanna sell the Bronco or see what it' ll do? I'm close ta ya and got some hills that'll break her in.

BuckinBronc36 06-12-2005 11:16 PM

Hey old87 i can't sell it even though a late 70's trans am is my dream car my dad would never let me sell my bronc. I'd definately wanna see what she can do. I cant do anything too crazy since i haven't had the money to make any major mods like a lift but im up for just about anything. I love mud and since im a huge smokey and the bandit and dukes of hazzard fan ya know i want some air.

A lift may not be needed I know for a fact 31's are a perfect fit on a stock height bronco. I think you may be able to use 33's with no problem but I am not absolutely sure. 3bc can give you the best insight on this.

I run 32s on the 96 with no problems.......

BuckinBronc36 06-13-2005 11:21 AM

alright awesome, i think we have 31's on there from the previous owners i wanted to throw on 32's which will happen soon since we're about due for tires. I had always wanted rancho shocks which it came with but i don't know if the ones on there are any good anybody know about the cheap ones? i think the ones he put on were the 50 dollar ones rsx5000 or something like that

For mud check out Newton county I think- we used to go to a place called Bear Creek.
Miles and miles of lotsa good stuff.
Of course that was years ago...

I've run 33's on 87-91's no problem on highway and moderate wheelin, without a lift. just don't get to fast with the getting a little air, esle the end result is re-arranged front fender well's

evilbeast 07-12-2005 07:09 PM

5000s arent bad shocks, if you get the money, or spare time, do a little research into bilsteins, they are amazing, i run em on tha race car, and they also have a lifetime warranty, if they break, send em back, if they go bad, send em back, if you scratch the center piston, send em back. they will even build you your own shock combos for the application they are on. get me some more info on the 5000s, and ill let ya know about the whole story on em, i would run 8000s if you are a die hard rancho fan, but 5000s arent 50 dollar shocks, little closer to the 100 range. and like i said, for what you are doin at this point, dont sweat it. i know for a fact you can fit 33s on a stock 2wd f-250!! had em on tha beast a few years ago, got tired of the questions on if it was 4wd or not, so they came off, and the overgrown car tires went on, that has since changed as well.
