V-Belts

Hi I have a question about my truck? I looked under my hood and noticed my V-belt was cracked a little bit. What I'm wondering about, since, I can't find it on Ford parts.com just how much it is going to cost me to have it replaced? Or if it is easy or hard to replace on my own? And if it is easy to replace where I could find out how to do that? I really ain't that mechanically inclined. I'm just wondering what would be the best call of action on it.
Thank you for your time.
It is a 98 Ranger XLT with a 4.0L engine.

Are you referring to the serpentine belt? The belt that runs the power steering, air conditioning, water pump and alternator? If so it is a flat belt about 1 inch wide. It is about a 10-20 minute change. There is an idler pulley that has a nut (or socket) on it that needs to be moved with a wrench or socket driver to relieve the tension. Then the old belt can be removed and the new belt goes back on the same way by relieving the tension on the idler and threading the new belt on. Most vehicles have a diagram under the hood showing how the belt runs. Labor to have this done runs approximately $45.00 - 60.00 plus the cost of the belt (about $30.00).

The Motorcraft part number for no AC is JK6-814-J and with AC is JK6-884-HA. I looked it up at motorcraft.com.
