2004 F-150 Fx4 2" Suspension Front Leveling Kit
hello f150 people:
i have a 2004 F-150 FX4 SuperCab 18" Wheels. I was thinking about installing the Revtek 2" Front Leveling Kit and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this configuration and what their opinion is? i've seen it and i like the look and how it levels out the balance of the truck, but are there any adverse side affects to the steering, ride, etc. thank you very much for your feedback, rob |
it will not effect any thing to your steering system..
after install 2" level kit in front, you will need bring it in for aligment shop thats it. Its piece of cake to do it yourself with correct tools. or let the shop take care of it for you. Most popular level kit is Auto spring (easier to install) and dayster level kit. I have a 2" autosprings and havent install it yet cuz i m trying to save $$ for new rims and tires. YOMAN! |
I have a 2" Autospring on my 2004 Supercab FX-4...no ride changes at all-----get it installed--you will love it.
|
I have the 2inch EZ lift. It's aluminum and installed easily.
|
I have the revtek system installed on my truck, the ride is about the same as stock. The rear of the truck sits about a half inch taller. I've had it for about 2000 mi., with no problems.
|
so the leveling kits raise the front about level with rear? is it pretty much dead on level? does it expose as much of the inside of the wheel well as the rears do at stock?
|
I installed a 2in Autospring kit on my04 FX4 screw. Had the toe corrected. 10,000 miles, no abanormal tire wear. Truck sits almost level. I think a 2.5 in would have made completely level, but it looks great in my opinion.....

can anyone point me to a picture of what the 2 inch and 2.5 inch daystar leveling kits look like after they are installed? i want to level her out but one of my pet peeves is that i don't like tons of wheel well space showing above my tires....... and i don't wanna put HUGE tires on... I have the stock P275's on my 05 FX4 4X4 Screw now....

I installed a 2" autospring kit on my wifes 150 FX4. pictures in the gallery. I also posted some directions for those DIY people out there. The directions that came with the kit will leave you hanging by your brake lines!
