Can't Wait.....
Just got some work done on the Bronco this past week...
engine flush Oil change fuel filter PCV valve (really needed) and some small fixing I had some major oil foaming going on and lots of leaks so I thought that there was really bad blow by and in need for a major rebuild. Well when I changed the PCV there went my foaming and I put in really thin oil (5w30) and a can of restore now I just have to drain the oil soon and put in something thicker, prob 15w40 or something like that. I have some new wires and plugs, cap and rotor to put on. Now for the really really good part............ I did some stereo work for a local preformance/tire shop here in town and I got a really good deal for a stock size 2bbl Holly carb that I need to put on the Bronco................... :-X22 :-X19 :-X14 Just had to let you guys in on the good news :-X22 |
Well that's all good but what about your SAS (solid axle swap)?? Guess you gotta get more money eh? :-D 8D

If you want to go to a thicker oil, try 10w40 first. 20w50 is really thick oil for summer use. 15w40 is usually for diesels with different addatives.
AL. :-wink |
Beast I have been debating the SAS for a whyle, I have done some major research on it and come to find out that is you will loose alot of ride comfort and with all the travelling with camping, I think that is something I just might keep for a all time off-roader, and just do a small lift and buy bigger tires for this one. :-huh
Thanx for the tip Deal I might try the 10w40, I do alot of travelling and I want to protect this motor as long as I can. I have another block to build up but no$$$$$$ to do it with.. :-X22 |
