Are you guys aware of anything in the aftermarket??

I called Ford Accessories....they didn't make any.

My neighbor purchased/installed some for his Dodge 1500.

The Titan comes with some stock.

What about Fords?

Personally I think they are really handy to keep mud out and prevent rocks from nailing the undercarriage.

I painted undercoating (spray rattle can) i say about 3 coating and it really works well since almost a year.

Rougeriver did a cool mod, putting a new pair of the front wheel wells into the back. I found them on line for about 80 bucks shipped. Haven't had the time to do that one yet.
Barely had time to put in his dead pedal mod.

Dont mean to sound dumb but what is a dead pedal for?:-wink

It's basically just a footrest so your left and right feet can both be on pedals of similar height. Just a comfort thing.

I have borrowed rougeriver's mod on the dead pedal, nabbed one from a Mustang at the Pick-a-Part, and it do work good on the highway.
Took a little finagling to get it just the way I wanted it, but worth it.

On the tubs, I have found them online for well under a 100 for two, but today I was by the Ford shop and checked with parts. They wanted 83 bucks plus tax each. http://campaigns.ford-trucks.net/for...ons/icon13.gif

Good day Gordo, I have seen you post this link a couple of times, can you supply me with more info, checked out your site (nice truck, nice camera work), did not see anything regards these gap-guards.
Is that 70 + shipping a side/pair? Are they the ones that just compensate for lifted, usually about six-ten inches wide?
What can you tell me.

You are correct in that I don't have this particular item. I emailed BlkButy (who had them on his truck before he sold it), and he said they were great. Not having any pictures available, I'm not sure if they're full coverage or just the compensatory kind. When I called Rocky Mountain a few weeks ago, they told me the $70+ was for the full set of four (4) guards. That's about all I can offer ... just don't have any more info.
