Front axle ques?
 

Hi
I have B2 87' 4X4 and 2 yrs ago i had to put in new rear axle. I bought a used one and put it in my self. Only thing is it's 3.73 and the original was
3.54 (3.45?), so i disconnected the 4wd shift linkage to prevent FOBAR.

Anyway I want to use 4wd so need to put 3.73 in Dana28 up front. Is it possible if i buy a new meatball with 3.73 gears to do the swap at home?
I heard you need to "press" the wheel bearings during reassembly, and that
is not a do it at home thing as far as i know.
Are there any other things I'm forgetting in the process of doing this that anyone can enlighten me on?
