1979 C6

Does anyone know what tranny fluid goes in this and how much?

if its an auto, than ATF, if its a manual, than regular gearing lubricant. the guys at your local auto parts store can elaborate more

It takes Meron/Dexron. I just changed the oil in my 1979 C6. I believe that the C6 changed from Type F to Mercon in the mid 1970's. My owners manual specified Mercon. Just do not use Mercon V.
