Auxiliary Transmission Cooler Install.
 
I recently bought the factory service manual for my 2004 Ford Heritage F-150 SCAB with the V-6 and the 4.2 with the 4R70W. Has anyone installed the factory tranmission cooler on the V-6 with the 4R70W. It looks pretty simple. I need to get an additional line for the transmission cooler and the cooler itself. I do not want t o void my warranty and screw the tranny up.

I talked with U-Haul, and they will install a cooler for about $100. I'm going to get them to put one on my 4.2 even tho it has the trailer towing pkg. Read that you should get one in the 18-24k range (probably med size) if you tow.
Since I live in Ga and it gets pretty hot here, and I'm towing a 21 ft boat, I'm gonna go with a pretty good size one, and may get a trans temp guage too.
